April 2012 will see India host the International AGM of the 41 clubs. The refreshing beauty of South India's Coromandel Coast has been chosen as the venue for a series of events which will make up the 'Marina Melange', 2012.
In the spirit of the word 'Mélange', the 2012 AGM promises to be a colourful medley of experiences that showcase the diversity of Indian culture and tradition, at the same time offering delegates a relaxing, sociable and fun-filled holiday. The venue for the AGM is the Radisson Resort Temple Bay at Mammalapuram, about an hours' drive from Chennai. This plush resort nestles along the coast line, offering breath taking views of the Bay of Bengal. From the resort the sea shore stretches north towards the vibrant hub of Chennai itself, home to the Marina Beach, one of the longest city beaches in the world.
Our fellowship event takes centre stage. A programme is being planned around the AGM that includes a themed evening, our President's banquet and a 'Street Bazaar' with Indian handicrafts, silk fabrics, sarees, spices, traditional jewellery & much more. No trip to India is complete without indulging in its unique cuisine. Top Indian chefs will be on hand to prepare Indian dishes to suit the most discerning palate.
